Seeds of Carma Grand Opening
Families First of Minnesota is hosting a baby shower style Grand Opening for our new community resource room, Seeds of Carma, on Friday, March 27 at 10:00 AM.
The name Seeds of Carma is inspired by former Crisis Nursery team member Carma, whose advocacy helped establish the Crisis Nursery program in Olmsted County. The name celebrates the lasting impact that generosity can have on children and families.
Housed inside Families First of Minnesota (126 Woodlake Dr SE), Seeds of Carma was created to support families with young children by providing access to gently used baby and toddler clothing, baby gear, and household and hygiene essentials. Community members are invited to stop by to enjoy light refreshments, and learn more about the space.
Guests who wish to contribute are encouraged to bring a baby shower–style gift to help stock the room for families in the community. Seeds of Carma was founded on the belief that no family should have to navigate early childhood alone, and we are excited to unveil this new resource to the community!
