Give To The Max Day – November 20!
As we wrap up the year at Families First of Minnesota, one thing is clearer than ever: the growing need for early childhood and family support services in our community. Child care costs continue to rise, providers are closing due to increased regulations and costs, and more families are being forced to choose between care, food, and housing.
This year, our team worked hard to meet the growing need—serving 624 infants, young children, and pregnant women through Head Start and Early Head Start, and awarding 1,302 Early Learning Scholarships. There is potential to help many more; right now more than 1,800 children are still waiting for support and access to quality early education. Our Crisis Nursery is busier than ever, and demand continues to climb.
We’re expanding partnerships, improving transportation so children can safely reach our classrooms, and preparing to open a new Early Childhood Resource Room in 2026.
We can’t do it without you.
Your gift today will directly support local children and families: opening classroom doors, providing safe emergency care, and helping strengthen the early childhood system in southeastern Minnesota.
Please consider making a donation to help us reach our goal of $5,000 at our Give To The Max Day webpage, directly on our website, or by mailing it to our office at 126 Woodlake Dr SE, Rochester MN 55904.
Thank you for standing with us through a challenging year and for believing in the power of early childhood education to transform lives.
With gratitude,
Kristin Quenzer
Executive Director, Families First of Minnesota
