Families First of Minnesota is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Executive Director, Kristin Quenzer. She will be replacing Jon Losness, who will be retiring after nearly nine years with the organization. Kristin Quenzer will officially join Families First on September 3.

Quenzer will be joining Families First after serving as Senior Director at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. With over 25 years of leadership experience across various sectors, she has found a passion in community needs and family support services; making her well-positioned to guide Families First into its next chapter of growth and impact.

Quenzer is very excited to join Families First of Minnesota, and brings her passion for fostering collaborative ventures, driving strategic growth, and enhancing community impact to an already very strong team of staff and board members working to ensure positive beginnings for all young children and their families.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kristin to Families First of Minnesota,” said Sarah Stevens, Chair of the Board. “Quenzer’s vision and commitment to Families First of Minnesota align perfectly with our goals, and we are confident that she will bring innovative ideas and a fresh perspective to our work.”

The Board of Families First of Minnesota extends its deepest gratitude to Jon Losness for his exemplary service and leadership. His contributions have been instrumental in positioning the organization as a leader in the early childhood space, and he will be greatly missed.
