|Managing Emotional Mayhem by Becky Bailey||5/22/18||As parents we can unintentionally dismiss, punish, save/rescue or ignore our children’s feelings. This can leave our children feeling frustrated, unheard and lacking important coping skills. Instead let’s look at how to increase our children’s feeling vocabulary and coach them through their emotional mayhem.|

Story Time at the Library – September 26th & November 29th
Rochester Public Library is providing this FREE event to our families. Enjoy a family story time presentation while learning about ways that you can help your child get ready to read, get a library card for you or your child, and take a tour of the fun and engaging Youth Services division at the library.
Night at the Museum – October 24th
School Readiness families are invited to explore the Minnesota Children’s Museum Rochester at no charge! All Families who attend will receive a voucher for a FREE one year Family Membership ($69 value)!
Kick off to Kindergarten – November 15, 2018 from 4-6pm at Mayo High School
Join us to learn about your Rochester Public Schools options for your child entering Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year. Adults and children are welcome to attend for Kindergarten information and activities.
Transportation Fair – May 18, 2019
This is a fun family event that allows your child to explore different modes of transportation. This event is held at Goose Egg Park rain or shine.
Big Yellow School Bus – May (multiple dates – more details to come)
Big Yellow School Bus is a course for you and your child. Your child will learn all about bus safety and get to practice the rules on a real bus. Meanwhile, you will learn about bus safety, what to expect with transportation and have time to ask questions.
