Crisis Nursery Provider FAQ’s

We use only licensed providers that have gone through our application process. If you would like more information about becoming a regular Crisis Nursery provider, please call 287-2020 and ask for the Crisis Nursery.

If the child does not attend child care, for whatever reason, Crisis Nursery cannot pay for that time. Crisis Nursery is intended for short-term, crisis situations only.

Crisis Nursery follows the same rate maximums that Child Care Assistance uses. If you are not familiar with those rates, call to request a rate sheet.

Crisis Nursery vouchers are due by the third working day of the month, and checks go out on the 15th of that same month.

Sometimes it may take a week or more to get the Crisis Nursery voucher in the mail. If it is time to send in your Crisis Nursery voucher and you have not received it yet, please give Crisis Nursery a call. Be sure care was approved by Crisis Nursery.
