Crisis Nursery Provider FAQ's

  • Who can be a Crisis Nursery Provider?
    We use only licensed providers that have gone through our application process. If you would like more information about becoming a regular Crisis Nursery provider, please call 287-2020 and ask for the Crisis Nursery.
  • Can Crisis Nursery pay absent or vacation days?
    If the child does not attend child care, for whatever reason, Crisis Nursery cannot pay for that time. Crisis Nursery is intended for short-term, crisis situations only.
  • How much does Crisis Nursery pay?
    Crisis Nursery follows the same rate maximums that Child Care Assistance uses. If you are not familiar with those rates, call to request a rate sheet.
  • How does a provider get paid for doing Crisis Nursery Care?
    Crisis Nursery vouchers are due by the third working day of the month, and checks go out on the 15th of that same month.
  • What should I do if I haven't gotten my Crisis Nursery voucher?
    Sometimes it may take a week or more to get the Crisis Nursery voucher in the mail. If it is time to send in your Crisis Nursery voucher and you have not received it yet, please give Crisis Nursery a call. Be sure care was approved by Crisis Nursery. If we have a problem or question we will contact you.
