Local Early Childhood Software System Upgrade Grant Information

In 2013, Families First of Minnesota was awarded a grant award of $250,000 from the Minnesota Department of Education to upgrade our software systems to improve the education experience of children enrolled in Head Start and School Readiness.  This grant will help pay for software which is used by Head Start and School Readiness to collect early childhood data.

The funding source and legislative authority for this grant is derived from the following: PL 111-5 and 112-10-14005 and 14006, Division A, of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, as amended by section 1832(B) of Division B of public law 112-10, the Department of Defense and full year continuing appropriations Act, 2011.
